Philosophy
I prefer simple and well thought-out designs. I have no care for making the page flashy or poppy. Not that I have anything against flashy pages, it's just not my style. On that note, I don't have a lot of flash on this page. Colors are kept to a minimum, and there aren't any animations (not sure which animations would even be fitting).
Additionally, most of the time that I spend on the on the internet (for non-video media) is on my phone. For this reason, I want my page to be primarily usable on mobile. I do care that it looks pleasing to the eye on desktop as well, but mobile is the focus.
In an attempt to make sure that it is appealing to the eye, I have settled on using the Lexend Deca font. I found it through CrossInk for my E-Reader and have decided to adopt it for my page (thank you Google Fonts).
Building and Hosting
Originally I tried to use a mustache variant for generating this page, but found I was fighting the templating language and it's restrictions more than I was working on the page. I have tried a few technologies, and settled on Astro. The site is hosted on Codeberg Pages, and updated on push. Oh! And this domain I registered at Porkbun.
Missing Elements
This page does not have analytics, cookies nor comments, and I'm confident enough in saying that it never will. I have no interest in tracking who visits my page, nor ensuring that comments do not contain abuse.
